Feature request — expose the tags edge (posts where our account was tagged by others) for the Instagram connector
Hi Windsor.ai team,
Thanks again for adding media_collaborators to the Instagram connector — that’s already live and working well for us, letting us tell apart posts our own accounts publish with a collaborator from posts where our account is added as a collaborator by another account we also have connected.
There’s one gap left: that only works when the account that published the post is also one of our connected Windsor.ai accounts. We’d like to also detect when one of our accounts is tagged as a collaborator on a post published by an account we do not have connected (an external/partner page) — today we have no visibility into that at all.
We believe the Instagram Graph API’s tags edge (GET /{ig-user-id}/tags) is built for exactly this: it returns media where our account was photo-tagged by other accounts, regardless of who published it. We’d like to request:
A new field (or connector option) on the Instagram connector exposing this tags edge data per account — media ID, publishing account, timestamp, similar to what we get from the media fields today.
Clarification (or just ship it and let us test): does a post’s tags edge include an Instagram Collab co-author credit, or only the classic “tag a person/account in the photo” feature? We need to know whether this edge actually surfaces Collab invites from accounts outside our connected set, since that’s the specific case we’re trying to close.
