The YouTube connector currently has no age or gender demographic fields — only Geography (country, region, city). YouTube’s own Analytics API already supports this via the ageGroup/gender dimensions with the viewerPercentage metric — it’s the same data shown in YouTube Studio under Audience > Age and gender (age13-17, age18-24, age25-34, age35-44, age45-54, age55-64, age65-, and gender: male/female/user_specified).
Your Instagram connector already has the equivalent fields (audience_age_name/audience_age_size, audience_gender_name/audience_gender_size) — this request is to bring YouTube in line with that.
Use case: building a cross-platform audience-composition dashboard (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook). YouTube is the only platform currently missing this data because the field isn’t exposed.
