YouGov Connector#1733

Hello,

a connector to YOUGOV has been set up for us. We would like to use the data from the following saved reports (Excel export attached) in Windsor:

Dashboard Werte DVAG | Altersgruppen | Awareness 2026
Dashboard Werte DVAG | Altersgruppen | Ad Awareness 2026

The reports are displayed as accounts in Windsor, however we are currently not receiving any percentage-based results or values aggregated on a monthly level.

In addition, the results we do receive cannot be clearly assigned to the respective reports.

We have already contacted the regular support team regarding this issue, but unfortunately we have not been able to resolve it so far. We have been trying to get this clarified for quite some time now, so this issue has become quite urgent for us.

Could you please check what might be causing this issue and whether the reports have been connected correctly as soon as possible?

Thank you very much and best regards

Natalie

Hi Natalie,

Good news: this is now live in the YouGov BrandIndex connector, so I am marking this request as completed. Here is what changed and how to pull the data you need.

Each saved report is already imported as its own account and appears under the “Analysis Title” field (for example “Dashboard Werte DVAG | Altersgruppen | Awareness 2026”). What was missing was a way to tell the age-group series inside a report apart, so the numbers could not be assigned to the right split. We have added a new field, “Analysis Query Filters”, that labels every row with the audience filter behind it, for example “Age by Year Standardized: 18-24”. It works for any demographic breakdown (age, gender, region), not only age groups.

To reproduce your dashboards, select these fields together in your YouGov BrandIndex data source:

  • Analysis Title: which saved report the row belongs to
  • Analysis Query Filters: the age group / audience split (this is the new field)
  • Analysis Metric Name: the metric, for example Awareness or Ad Awareness
  • Analysis Metric Score: the value for that metric (for the awareness metrics this is the percentage)
  • Date: the day of the data point

With those, every value can be clearly assigned to its report and its age group, which resolves the point about results not being assignable to the respective reports.

On the percentage and monthly questions: the percentage figures come through in “Analysis Metric Score”, one value per metric per day. The connector returns daily data, so to see it at a monthly level, group by “Date” at month granularity in your report or date settings. Analysis Metric Score then shows the value per metric, per age group, per month.

If a specific number still does not match your Excel export for the DVAG dashboards, just reply with the exact report name and we will check that dashboard directly.

Best regards
