Meta creative website url for better creative reporting#1543

Hi there, currently i’m using Looker to analyze creatives, and you are missing a parameter that is available on Supermetrics which is to import the “Creative ad URL” - when using supermetrics, you can both visualize it (use the image/video), or just use the link - you can use both in a table and add performance metrics. When I migrated to your services, my Creative analysis table looks significantly less clear, right now i’m using “ad creative thumbnail url”, and the parameter “ad creative link url” doesn’t really work (see attached table).
In general, would love to see more reliable creative-related fields. If i’ll be able to use “ad creative link url” in a reliable way, and even use it in a card visualization - that will be amazing (see attached demo generated in AI).

This is available in the Facebook (Meta Ads) connector. Use Ad Creative Thumbnail URL (id: thumbnail_url) in the Ad table, which returns the creative asset URL as an IMAGE_URL type so Looker Studio renders the actual creative preview, the same way you used Supermetrics’ Creative ad URL. You can also use Ad Image URL (id: image_url, in the Dynamic Creative Ads table), also an IMAGE_URL. Note that for video creatives these resolve to the thumbnail image (Looker Studio renders it as an image), so you get the visual preview to analyze creatives directly in your reports.
